Choosing a tractor is a major investment. Before asking for a quote, get these six points clear, so the machine you buy fits your land: neither underpowered nor oversized.
1. Define the jobs you will do
Preparing soil for rice is not the same as hauling a trailer or spraying. List the main jobs of the year (ploughing, harrowing, planting, transport, spraying). That decides the power, traction and implements you need.
2. Match power to the implement
The tractor's power must suit the implement it will drive. For example, the 1GK-240 rotary tiller (2.40 m working width) is meant for 70 to 90 HP tractors. A weaker tractor struggles and a much stronger one is wasted. Always check the HP range on the datasheet.
3. Check traction and gearbox
Four-wheel drive helps in wet or sloping ground. A gearbox with more gears (for example 12 forward and 12 reverse) gives more speed options per job, and a dual-disc clutch lets you shift without stopping work.
4. Verify the engine and spare parts
Ask for the engine brand, filters and wear parts, and whether spares are available in the country. A good machine without spares is a machine standing idle.
5. Demand warranty and support
All UNINET IMPORT products carry a 1-year warranty and ship nationwide across Peru. Always confirm in writing what the warranty covers and where the machine will be delivered.
6. Request your quote with your details
Machinery prices vary by model and destination, so we do not publish them. Open the product page, press “Request quote” and we reply on WhatsApp. Higher-cost equipment is paid in cash and small items can be cash on delivery; we do not offer financing.
